Nine subjects, nine worlds

Every subject is a place you can walk into.

Each subject has a world of its own, painted in its own style, so students always know where they are. Lessons become stops along the way.

Every world, character, and icon on this page was designed and illustrated in‑house with AI.

  1. Level 1

    The nine halls

    Every subject, from day one

All nine subject halls are open from the start. A level never stands between a student and a lesson.

  2. Level 10

    Hall of the Way

    Daily practice · Leaderboards

Three tasks, fresh every morning, and leaderboards that rank growth among classmates, not official grades. This is where the habit starts.

Hall of the Way: today's three tasks and the classmates leaderboard
  3. Level 15

    Hall of Teaching

    Mentor trials

Problem sets from the student’s own teachers, and rewards teachers can hand to their class.

  4. Level 20

    Scripture Pavilion

    The question bank

Browse questions by subject and difficulty, and collect the ones you’ve mastered into books of your own.

  5. Level 25

    Market

    Stalls · Trade

Trade the gold earned from practice for covers, borders, and tools that make each book your own.

  6. Level 30

    Debate Arena

    Teams · Weekly leagues

Form a team with classmates, set your lineup, and compete in weekly leagues.

  7. Level 42

    Hall of Answers

Ask with a card · Peers reply

Stuck on a problem? Post it with a question card and a bounty. Classmates answer, and the best answer earns the reward.

  8. Level 130

    The summit

    The long road

Levels show how far a student has come. Cultivation and Soul show how deep and how high their understanding reaches.

The Abode: a bookshelf of the Six Arts across nine subjects, cultivation stats, and the student's character

The Abode

A character that grows with every answer.

Each student has an Abode: their character, a bookshelf of the Six Arts across nine subjects, and a satchel of everything they’ve earned.

Three measures of growth

  1. BreadthLevel & Power

How far a student has come: lessons cleared and questions solved.

  2. DepthCultivation

How well each subject is mastered.

  3. HeightSoul

How deeply the ideas are understood.

Every answer also reaches teacher and principal boards, automatically.

Guides along the way

No one climbs alone.

Guides walk students into every new place. Each one is a character with a personality, a history, and a story of their own, and the cast grows as the world does.

Next, AI gives them a voice of their own, so every guide can talk with students in character.

An example

Why does Mars go backwards?

One prototype, made with our own pipeline: the puzzle ancient sky-watchers could not explain, the eighty wheels it took to fake an answer, and the single idea that made it simple.

High-school physics · 2 min 41 s · Animated, narrated, and captioned with AI. Each one still takes about a person-day of hand-tuning; that is the part we are working to remove.

Bring littleWhale to your students.

It runs school-wide with teacherCoWork and teachHub, so every answer reaches the right teacher.
